Ira Kaye

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague, Ira Kaye.  Ira was a longstanding active member of the ethics community as a counselor and attorney at the Federal Trade Commission, the Office of Government Ethics, and, most recently, at the Department of Treasury, where he served as Alternate DAEO.  Ira was always willing to help other ethics officials who had issues or questions.  He conducted sessions at OGE annual conferences and was scheduled to run a workshop at next month's conference.  We will miss Ira's wisdom, kindness, and warmth.  He was a true friend to us.
